Hey, I’m Eve and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing an overview of my general diet with you .Remember to take into account that everyone is different and needs varied types and amounts of foods in their diet. I am Gluten Intolerant so this also affects the way I eat and not everything I eat will work for everybody.
For breakfast most days, I eat 2 eggs {boiled, fried or in an omelette} with either vegetables or gluten-free bread. As a morning person I like to work out early and eat after , however if that day my workout is a long cardio session then I will try eat around an hour before and I would tend to eat paleo muesli or a few slices of toast.
At lunch, I like to eat salads with a protein source and make sure I fill up on lots of raw vegetables.
In terms of snacking, I eat lots of almonds, protein balls and fruit and try to stay away from anything artificial like sweets, sweeteners or crisps.As a treat I make gluten-free protein cookies and my own no cook protein balls, I have learnt that being paleo based doesn’t mean you can’t eat nice food.
As my main meal at dinner time, I love stir fries , curries, chillies , zucchini pasta and stews. I will always try to include some source of protein and all my carbs will come from vegetables as it is nearer the end of the day.
